Integration - Transformation: Assign Value

This transformation assigns a set value to an attribute.

Examples of Use Cases

1. Put the word "Salesforce" in the Description attribute in your target system to indicate where this record came from.
2. Put the word "United States" in the Country attribute for all records meeting your filter criteria.
3. Put the word "unassigned" in the Lead status attribute for all records meeting your filter criteria.

1. Choose Task Template: begin by selecting the Assign Value task template.
2. Select Attribute: select the attribute that you'd like to assign a value to.
3. Value: Type the value you'd like to assign to the attribute. (i.e. in the example above, we've assigned the value of United States to the Country attribute for all records in the project.)

Remember to click Save to save the transformation to your project.
