This transformation combines values from two attributes into a single attribute.
Examples of Use Cases
- Combine the first name with the last name to create a full name attribute. Please note: the combined value will be held in the first attribute selected. For example, Select Attribute contains First Name and Attribute to combine with contains Last Name: the value will be held in the 0P First Name attribute.
- Combine two unique Description attributes into a single attribute for consolidation.
- The source system has two email address attributes, but the target system only contains one. Combine two unique Email address attributes into a single attribute to retain more data.
- Choose Task Template: begin by selecting the Combine Attributes task template.
- Select Attribute: select the first attribute that you'd like to combine.
- Attribute to combine with: Select the second attribute you'd like to combine with the first.
