Integration - Transformation: Combine Attributes

This transformation combines values from two attributes into a single attribute.

Examples of Use Cases

1. Combine the first name with the last name to create a full name attribute. Please note: the combined value will be held in the first attribute selected. For example, Select Attribute contains First Name and Attribute to combine with contains Last Name: the value will be held in the 0P First Name attribute.
2. Combine two unique Description attributes into a single attribute for consolidation.
3. The source system has two email address attributes, but the target system only contains one. Combine two unique Email address attributes into a single attribute to retain more data.

1. Choose Task Template: begin by selecting the Combine Attributes task template.
2. Select Attribute: select the first attribute that you'd like to combine.
3. Attribute to combine with: Select the second attribute you'd like to combine with the first.

Example: Combine the first name with the last name to create a full name attribute. Please note that the combined value will be held in the first attribute selected. For the example above, the value will be held in the 0P First Name attribute.

Remember to click Save to save the transformation to your project.
