This article covers how to connect Openprise to Microsoft Dynamics when setting up a Data Source or Data Target (process is the same for Source or Target). You will need a Microsoft Dynamics account and credentials for Openprise.
When creating a new data source, select Microsoft Dynamics from the Connect data picklist.
Next, you'll set up the connection
- Select from an existing account if you've already linked your Microsoft Dynamics account to Openprise
- Click on the Add Credential button to sign into your Microsoft Dynamics account using your credentials
To add account information, follow the steps below:
Enter the URL instance for your Microsoft Dynamics account
Enter the user name for your Microsoft Dynamics account
Enter the password for your account
If you have authentication set up, you will also receive a screen prompt to enter your code.
Lastly, select the directory or entity containing the data you want to import as a new data source. Options are: Accounts, Contacts, or Leads.
This same process is followed to set up a Data Target.
